Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he wants to stay at Old Trafford for the next 15 years
Mourinho has not stayed more than three years at a stretch at a club since making his breakthrough with Porto 15 years ago.
The manager admits that staying so long at United like the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson is tough.
“I am ready for this.” Mourinho, who led United to a Europa League and EFL Cup double in his first season, told ESPN.
“I am ready for the next 15, I would say.
I have to admit that it is very difficult because of the pressure around our jobs.
Everybody is putting pressure on managers.
but in reality only one can win and every year it is getting more difficult.”
Sir Alex stayed 27 years at Old Trafford. He won 13 Premier League and two Champions League titles, along several FA Cups and League Cups.
