CHELSEA have flown out for their pre-season tour of China and Singapore with four teenagers in the squad.
England Under-20 World Cup winners Jake Clarke-Salter and Fikayo Tomori have been included in Antonio Conte’s 25-man group.
The defenders were impressed during respective loans at Bristol Rovers and Brighton last season. They have also been joined by goalkeeper Marcin Bulka and midfielder Kyle Scott.
There were number of other unfamiliar faces travelling too. Andreas Christensen was in the pack after two years away at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Fellow defender Tomas Kalas’ performances for Fulham saw him earn a shot along with midfielder and ex-AC Milan loanee Mario Pasalic and talented Belgian playmaker Charly Musonda.
Attacker Lewis Baker, wide-man Jeremie Boga and wing-back Kenedy are also included, as is veteran striker Loic Remy – who has been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit.
New midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has not travelled as he recovers from an injury. While defender Antonio Rudiger is on holiday after representing Germany at the Confederations Cup.
Eden Hazard has also been left out as he continues to recover from an ankle injury suffered while on international duty. but new goalkeeper Willy Caballero has made the trip.
Transfer misfits Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic did not board the plane as falling out of Conte’s plans.
While Kurt Zouma was another absentee as he closes in on a loan move to Stoke.
Chelsea have already played a game against fellow Londoners Fulham, crushing their rivals 8-2 at Cobham at the weekend.
But they face more difficult opposition this time around, with matches against Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan to come.
