DOUBLE Olympic champion Nicola Adams has claimed even she could beat Conor McGregor in the ring.
McGregor takes on undefeated Floyd Mayweather in his first ever boxing match in Las Vegas on August 26.
But Adams has commented on the highly-anticipated clash and reckons she could defeat the UFC star in the squared-circle.
Adams said: “I can see the interest, for me, Floyd Mayweather’s going to win hands down.
“It’s just a show really for everybody, a bit of a performance, a bit of entertainment.
“It’s not something you get to see everyday, a UFC fighter boxing a top class boxer, I definitely see Floyd Mayweather winning by knockout.
When it was mentioned to her if she would beat UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor Adams replied: “Yeah, definitely.
“Yeah definitely in the boxing ring, I don’t know about in the octagon, but in the boxing ring.”
McGregor has been pushing himself hard in the gym as he attempts to inflict a first defeat on Mayweather.
The Notorious released a montage on his social media pages, showing him working hard late at night at the UFC Performance Institute.
In front of his entourage, the brutal, punishing clip shows the 28-year-old hard at work on a rowing machine.
As his crew shout their encouragement, McGregor screams out as his muscles begin to burn with pain.
Two-weight UFC champ is clearly exhausted as he climbs off the machine.
The controversial star captioned the video simply: “I am Batman.”
